Harold Johnson

An air show performer during aviation's Golden Age in the 1930s and 1940s, Johnson is the only pilot to have flown aerobatics in the monstrous Ford Tri-Motor. A Chicago native and one of the air show community's earliest sponsored performers, Johnson was renowned in the aviation community for both his skills as an aerobatic pilot and his participation in air races, flying his Continental Special racing biplane.
