Joe Hughes

During the 1970s, Joe Hughes was among the most well-known air show pilots in the world. He developed and flew the 650 horsepower Super Stearman, making his mark principally with his wingwalking act. Hughes also flew with Art Scholl and Gary Barnhill as part of the Red Knights, a three-ship Pitts Special formation team.
